本来、エキシマUVランプはバルブ内に電極を有さない構造なので理論上では長寿命ランプとされ、海外ではpermanent Excimer lampと表記されている場合もあります。しかしながら昨今の高照度を追求するエキシマランプは管材の軽薄化、菅温度の上昇、紫外エネルギーに伴うガラスのひずみ等に伴いランプ寿命はコスト高となる短寿命化の傾向があります。
※1 長年の現場での経験と実績に基づき株式会社エキシマの空冷コンパクトエキシマランプはメンテナンスとして外部電極と高圧ケーブルや高圧部品の定期交換は必要ですが高価なランプ管本体は交換不要です。低コスト高信頼性を実現いたしました。
